Calum Yule

Born and raised in Peterborough, Calum grew up in Stewart Hall where he spent most of his childhood being active outdoors. In fact, some of his favourite activities are spent four-wheeling, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, hiking and cutting firewood.

During his high school years, Calum spent many hours helping to manage his family’s restaurant. It’s where he learned the importance and values of good client service and working hard for a living. In fact, working hard for a living is in his blood. Having worked on several farms in the neighbourhood, Calum really knows the ins and outs of farms. With a keen interest in media, he attended the National school of broad casting, providing him with the skills for acting and voice-overs! At the tender age of 18, Calum unfortunately broke his back and was told he would spend his entire adult life working from behind a desk. Calum had to prove to himself that he would do more with his life than simply sitting at a desk, and so he decided to take up the trade of carpentry. With those newfound skills, he was soon building houses and performed renovations for a period of 6 years. Calum, therefore, has an excellent understanding of all the components required to build custom homes. It wasn’t long before he moved from building Residential homes to Commercial buildings, where he continued to learn the additional crafts required for this type of build. With his love for and the skills that enable him to build homes and commercial buildings, he decided to get into Real Estate at the age of 25 and has now been in the industry for an amazing 15 years. Calum has been committed to the same Brokerage, learning to craft and hone his Real Estate skills. However, recently he decided to make a move to a brand new Boutique Brokerage, ‘BALL Real Estate Inc’. He is thrilled and excited to be a part of this new innovative and caring Brokerage. It feels like coming home for the first time, with its’ positivity, exuberance and support.

Although Calum works hard, he also likes to play hard. He loves nothing better than spending quality time with his family. He has 4 wonderful children, all of whom he completely dotes on. Importantly to him, Calum has been a foster parent for 10 years. He and his wife love spending time on their 25 acre hobby farm, as well as time on our beautiful lakes and he got to know the Trent Severn Waterways very well.
